Men's Natural Hair Tutorial: How To Cut and Style a Hi-Top Fade
Hi-Top Fade Requirements
** The sides should be very short (1/16 inch, or a #0 buzzer setting).
** Have your barber begin fading to a longer length relatively high on the head, just above the temple.
** The front, sides, and back should be picked out and cut freehand for a strong, geometric look. If youre going for a flat top, the top should also be completely even.
How to Style a Hi-Top Fade
1. If you have a flat top fade, be sure to pick out the hair with a comb and work it into the classic, square shape (thats why this is sometimes called a "box cut").
2. Spritz some oil sheen spray on the hairit will add nutrients to the follicle and give the cut some shine.
