A Japanese Spa is Offering Ramen Noodle Baths, and They're…Well They're Something
The ramen bath is the brainchild of Yunessun Spa Resort in Hakone, Japan, which is known for other novelties like green tea and red wine baths. The procedure is said to have a variety of benefits, from increased metabolism to smoother, healthier skinsupposedly due to the collagen contained in the pork broth. While these claims are rather suspicious (and the thought of stewing in bubbling broth is mildly disturbing), our curiosity is piqued: It at least makes our ramen addiction seem a bit less irresponsible.
